Ashley Van Dyk – Ashtanga, Pilates and Gait therapist
After working in the Pilates spectrum for the last 10 years, Ashley completed her Yoga primary series in Mysore, India in 2016. Her passion for functional movement led her into the world of Gait Therapy which has opened a fresh and different perspective into body alignment.
What is GAIT Therapy:
A form of movement therapy that realigns your body based on GAIT/walking patterns. GAIT is based on the idea that your body innately knows how to move correctly and there is a blueprint but due to modern lifestyle our bodies have been forced to adapt to long periods of sitting at a desk, stress and lack of movement.
Constantly challenged by incorrect movement, this often leads the body into discomfort, pain and injury. Incorrect alignment can hinder any peak performance, therefore never functioning at your optimum.
Benefits of Gait Therapy:
• Improves posture, mobility and performance
• Corrects joint and muscle alignment
• Resets the body to its natural centre
• Alleviates pain, tension and muscle stiffness
• Reveals the cause of injury and pain in the body
• Improves sports performance

Therapeutic Massage – Eugene Sabala
Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm and stress, and to promote health and wellness.
Eugene’s 10 plus years of experience in the field of health and wellness and his holistic approach to health are what make his sessions so effective.
The techniques used are individually tailored to each client and specific condition and requirements; they range from gentle, relaxing massage to pressure point therapy (an ancient method that uses acupressure trigger points to release tension and increase the circulation of blood, heightening the body’s vital life energy to aid healing) to sports massage (used to help prevent injuries, prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help clients recover from workouts and injuries).
Eugene is a passionate advocate of the mind body connection and recognizes the powerful role of the energy fields in the body and the huge part they play in one’s wellbeing; his sessions do not only tackle the gross physical symptoms but also address more subtle imbalances to bring deep, long lasting relief and holistic health.

Craniosacral Therapy – Monica Jones
Craniosacral therapy assists and enhances the body’s natural vitality and potency to repair and heal itself as well as helping to reduce stress and build your underlying energy. It integrates all levels of being: emotional, psychological, anatomical, physiological and spiritual.
During or after a session you may feel calm and energised, with increased clarity of mind and a feeling of well-being.
Contact is non-invasive, facilitating gentle release and allowing the system to settle back to a balanced natural state. When Monica places her hands lightly on you, she is using them to listen to you in much the same way that a counsellor might listen to your words. Your body responds to this sensitive touch by beginning to listen to itself. A feeling that you have been heard in the truest sense of the word is a common experience during and after a Craniosacral session.
It can benefit any condition, from trauma to digestive problems to back pain.
Because it is so gentle and non-invasive, Craniosacral Therapy is suitable for everyone from newborns to the elderly. Mothers and babies often come for problems associated with difficult or traumatic births. Letting go of tension and fear held in the body enables both to settle into calmness.
